Do Unfinished Projects Have You Bummed?

This is totally me.... anyone else that can relate?

Starting comes easy to me, I have lots of drive and ambition but lack some needed stamina to finish all the starting that I do.

At least I know all of this about myself. I can limit the things that I start and work to finish a project before I reward myself with starting a new one.

The key to having faults that will always be faults is to accept them as part of you. This fault, while it makes things hard for me sometimes, is not a negative for me but rather a gift for me.

I am an ideas person and that tends to mean I will have more ideas than I can responsibly follow through on. Honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way.

So by accepting this as a concrete normal, a truth in my life that I cannot change, I open myself to options of how to work with it or work around it and still get the results I long for most.

None of us have "faults", in the sense that most people think about having faults. We are whole, complete and perfect exactly as we are. Everything about each of us works to make us who we are and we can be proud of that person.

What are your faults? How are they also your gifts? Knowing this makes life a little harder for you, how might you work with this fault to make it benefit your life as best it can?

Accepting yourself as perfectly imperfect is a wonderful gift. You have no faults, only challenges. What will you do to make the best of yours?

Until next time, wish me luck on my finishing skills...
